Parking automation with license plate recognition cameras for the Green Sport complex ( Sofia, Bulgaria )

VAiOS has implemented a comprehensive parking automation system with license plate recognition cameras for the Green Sport sports complex in Sofia—a modern center for sports, recreation, and events located at 158 Geo Milev Street. The complex features soccer and mini-soccer fields, a restaurant with a garden, party areas, and its own parking lot, serving dozens of visitors and sports schools daily.

The VAiOS project aims to automate and optimize access to the parking area by implementing a smart control system using ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) technology. The solution utilizes specialized cameras for automatic license plate recognition, enabling fast and contactless management of entry and exit to the facility.

The system is integrated with the VAiOS software and hardware architecture, which combines hardware, backend logic, network communication, and centralized management software. This enables real-time monitoring of vehicle traffic, management of access rights, and maintenance of a history of entries and exits from the parking lot.

With the implementation of this solution, Green Sport has achieved a higher level of security, improved vehicle access management, and significantly more convenient service for visitors, staff, and partners. Automation eliminates the need for manual checks and creates a modern and efficient environment tailored to the dynamics of today’s sports and entertainment complexes.
