Reading devices for access control and time tracking are undoubtedly the most widespread at the moment. They are designed to obtain information from the identifiers of visitors or employees in the access control system.
VAiOS offers a wide variety of reading devices. We combine the possibility of multiple configurations with attractive and discreet design at a reasonable price. The reliable sealing of the readers’ electronic components makes them ideal for use both indoors and outdoors. According to their purpose, they come in different types with various technical characteristics. VAiOS Series Readers – Available in Various Colors
VAiOS products are encapsulated, withstand variable climatic conditions, and are certified for quality. The readers come in different shapes and colors. Since we manufacture the plastic molds for the series, they can be made in any colors suitable for the client’s interior solution.
Durable Design in Certified Plastic with Color Options – VAiOS V15
VAiOS V15 readers use 125 kHz frequency for communication. They are a great solution for both indoor and outdoor use. The readers’ casing is made of highly durable and flame-resistant plastic with a quality certificate. Its shape provides strength and high resistance in case of vandalism. The design and reliable encapsulation make the V15 resistant to adverse weather conditions: dust and moisture resistance (IP55). The standard colors available are black, white, and beige. As the manufacturer of the plastic molds, we have the capability to produce readers in custom colors to match the client’s interior design. The lack of a minimum order quantity for custom readers makes VAiOS a preferred brand for custom Smart Home systems.
Built-in Readers – VAiOS V16
The VAiOS series of built-in console readers is intriguing. For one of our innovative projects – the first smart fitness center in Bulgaria, we produced readers embedded in a mirror. A significant part of the mounting solutions for the readers requires them to be integrated as part of the interior. Here we offer the “little brother” of VAiOS V15 – VAiOS V16. With its 32 mm diameter and visible surface area, the VAiOS V16 easily becomes part of the interior. In various custom systems, we have integrated the reader into different designs and shapes.
Our innovative project – the first smart fitness center in Bulgaria, faced design challenges for the readers, not only in terms of shape but also in meeting various specifications such as IP parameters for device durability. The first problem we solved was integrating the designer reader into a mirror. The custom casing with the desired logo blended seamlessly with the rest of the interior without disrupting harmony.
The Only Reader on the Market Integrated into a Touch Screen Monitor
In creating the first smart fitness center in Bulgaria, we faced a challenge no one had tackled before. We needed to integrate a reader into a touch screen monitor, with these monitors placed at specific locations within the premises. The second part of the task was easily manageable. We can proudly state that we have one of the most unique models. Our tireless efforts to integrate a functional reader behind a touch screen monitor were completed on time, and we were as happy with the result as the client was. To this day, this development remains unique in the market of reading devices.
Non-Standard Shape Reader with IP68 Waterproofing
Conditions in rooms such as bathrooms, saunas, and other SPA facilities, where smart technology and particularly reading devices must function, are challenging for any manufacturer. Due to the high humidity combined with temperatures and the intensity of use by the clients of the sports or SPA facility.
We encountered such a problem while building the automated shower system in the smart fitness center in Varna. This required the encapsulated technology to be made even more moisture-resistant, transforming the readers into waterproof devices (IP68).
The specific shape, mimicking the bathroom tiles, posed a second challenge that we also successfully met, once again showcasing the advantages of VAiOS custom production. In the end, we built the automated shower system (part of the fully integrated smart fitness system), where the water flows at the pre-desired temperature based on the person checking in. At the same time, the system allows for the control of the amount of water used. Each check-in controls automated valves that determine when the water stops automatically. Thus, the entire system provides convenience for the fitness clients, who won’t pay more than desired, and for the owners, who can monitor and optimize the use of services within the premises.
Custom Designed and Branded Access Control Reader
An advantage of the custom VAiOS V15 reading devices is that they can be designed according to the client’s choice without affecting the minimum required order quantity. This flexibility has won us numerous advantages and made us a preferred partner for custom smart systems. One such project is the new security system for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia in Nigeria, where the client requested that their logo be reflected on each reader, along with specific LED indications (as seen in the image above, which the client ultimately chose).
Following the same model, our characteristic production cycle allows us to embed any logo according to preferences, as well as specific LED indications.
Unique Product – Combination of Reader and Keyboard
Along with this custom reading device for our project in Nigeria, we also produced and delivered a special series of readers with an integrated keyboard arranged circularly around the reader. Developing this unique product in terms of execution and design gave us another direction for the development of reading devices with integrated keyboards, which can be used for both access control and zonal security distribution for individual systems.
