VAiOS WAC4 controller is our dream come true. We started with many dreams when we founded the production in VAiOS. One of them was to give people a multifunctional controller, applicable in various fields of automation. The development of the VAiOS WAC4 controller made our dream come true.
What is the VAiOS WAC4 multifunction controller?
VAiOS WAC4 is a top class controller with web-communication capability. Its modern design and capabilities make this product a leader in its field. Web-communication makes it possible to make contact with the system from any point with Internet access. А contact with the system can be made from any point with Internet access through a Web-communication. The ability to work independently with web-based software makes it even more widely applicable.
Why multifunctional?
- VAiOS WAC4 is multifunctional controller, featuring a hardware level with 4 relays, allowing it to manage up to 4 points simultaneously;
- Option to add expansion modules (VAiOS R8) enables the management of unlimited number of relays;
- Communication with the multifunction controller WAC4 can be done via a LAN module with encrypted connection, and the control can be through a central server (VAiOS MSC) or uploaded to a cloud server;
- The encrypted connection in combination with the SSL communication used in the software products provide the highest level of security;
- The WAC4 controller has 8 programmable inputs together with its 4 relays. This gives it an extremely wide range of work
The controller can control 4 relays (4 VAiOS readers or series products). There are also 4 inputs for monitoring status or control of alarm sensors. In combination with the software, the possibilities for automation through the VAiOS WAC4 controller become practically unlimited.
The VAiOS WAC4 can be both an access and time attendance controller and can activate and deactivate other relay-controlled devices. Such as plumbing risers for automated shower control. We have applied this technology in our sites in Bulgaria and abroad. Independent work and communication via LAN module
VAiOS WAC4 has the ability to add a LAN module. Through it, the system can be monitored and controlled via a web-based platform from anywhere with Internet access. The second advantage is that through the LAN module the system can be upgraded with an unlimited number of controllers and expanded as needed. If necessary or according to the customer’s wishes, the LAN module can be mounted as standard or at an angle of 90 °. The LAN module and web-based software make it possible to expand the scale of automation not only at a modern level, but also according to the customer’s imagination and preferences.
Extender upgrade
The construction of large but standard in structure systems requires control with more than 4 relays and inputs to monitor the status of units in the controller systems. The VAiOS WAC4 controller has the ability to add expansion modules (VAiOS R8). This increases the parameters that the controller manages up to 68 relays in the single VAiOS WAC4, i.e. up to 8 VAiOS R8 modules. At the same time, the expansion module has 8 additional terminals that can monitor the status of the units in the system (emergency buttons, exit buttons, etc.) or to be programmed to control alarm sensors. With the possible 8 additional modules in the line of one VAiOS WAC4 controller, the capacity reaches +64 status monitoring or alarm sensor control.
